I did a little bit of research today prior to taking stuff apart in both our cars. I found these pics online that show connection types. It seems like the Integra has a 7 pin MALE plug coming out of the mirror. Iā€™m assuming that the A-Spec and Type-S have the same mirror setup.

The other two frameless options that I was considering both have FEMALE plugs directly on the mirror. Not sure if people would want to snip and rewire the plug or possibly buy a whole new harness.

PIC 3: 2023 Accord/CR-V (08V03-3A0-100)

Ok, this helps! So either of the mirror part numbers I posted along with a new harness (08V03-30A-100) will do the trick, correct?

Go back to my post #23 for the correct 2 part numbers for this DIY. They are also on the civicxi thread I linked. I don't know if any other part #s are compatible with them.

I'm going to try just repining it based on wire colors and see if it blows up

How many pins does our Integra harness have with just the dimming mirror? Is it 6 or 8?

Any more updates on this? Iā€™m just wondering if it possible to use the harness thatā€™s already there for the auto dimming mirror and just reposition the pins? Or is the only way to do it is tap or buy the Accord harness to use with the new mirror? Sorry if has been answered already.

The purpose of my post from last Thursday was to show that the MDX mirror is not plug and play. Youā€™ll need a harness, splice, or repin. Iā€™m not ready to do any of those right now, so Iā€™ll continue to use Siri for now.

I just went ahead and ordered the Accord mirror and harness. Doesnā€™t seem very difficult.

Just installed the homelink mirror for the accord that I bought by mutilating the harness... only to find out I can't even check if it works because I lost the remote for my garage door šŸ’€.

The accord one has all the same wires as our mirrors, for what it's worth if it does work and if you don't care about it being ugly, it's not too hard if you're experienced like I am. I will be getting a new remote tomorrow, and I'll check.

Regardless, I've found a few different options.

This Module can be mounted discreetly on the dash, allowing for either a hidden or a discreet add on of homelink

This Module can be mounted in the headliner! Although I will say, it's dumb as hell that the alternate color plates cost 25 bucks each.

In conclusion, does anybody wanna donate their factory mirror without homelink to a brother that risked it all (if it doesn't work, anyways)? I'll pay for shipping šŸ˜…

With Homelink in other vehicles I've never needed the remote. You click the button on the back of the garage door opener and it senses the Homelink button in the vehicle. Does this solution still require the remote?

According to the included manual, it is the initial step. Seems like it's copying the signal sent from the remote. If that doesn't work the other methods are possible, again detailed in the manual. I tried using the program button on my opener but ran out of time cause I had to go to bed.
