I just took the leap and got the DWS06 Plus tires as well. Eager to try them out. I am mounting them on Flow One F5s with +45 offset and they should arrive in a couple of weeks. Everything should fit and look good so excited to put them on.
That's the same tire/wheel I ordered from Tirerack.com, but changed my mind. I do have Conti DWS06 on my Tesla S and they have done well in the snow over many winters.

Wanting more of a winter oriented setup, however, had Cross Climate 2 in size 255/35-18 on 18x9.5 +45 offset Enkei T6R Wheels mounted today.

I have Cross Climates on my AMG 63 SUV and wife's e-Tron GT and they are an excellent winter tire that you can also run in warmer weather, which my wife does (with Blizzacks for winter).

THe DWS06 mounted on Flow One rims I ordered are still at Discount Tire in Des Plaines waiting to go back to Tirerack.com. Here are the Cross Climates on 18x9.5 Enkei rims.

Put the winters on yesterday. Wheels sit at the same spot as OE. Handling is quite affected with 18x8 (+40) wheels and 235 tires. Will have to be careful driving with those...

Looks good. Did you install those splash guards yourself? If so, was it difficult? Ordering some up for myself.

Looks great! I ordered the same FC wheels with the +40et. What makes you say the handling is affected?

I repurposed my set of 57DR Gramlights in 18x9.5 et+38 with 255/35/18 Cross Climate 2’s for winter from my FK8 to the DE5. Gonna store the FK8 for winter and drive my DE5. Had to clone a set of tpms sensors. Car handles well with all weather tires and don’t feel squishy and soft like full winter tires.

Super easy with the instructions. You'll need some sort of super short screwdriver.

I’m not surprised. You went with over 1 inch narrower squishy winter tires. It’s going to suck.

This is a big part of why I wanted to go with 265 all seasons and the exact same width and offset as stock. It still feels great to drive.

Here, winters are mandatory. We also get lot of snow, so no choice. Can't wait untill next spring for summer wheels/tires again!!
