I experienced the issue going into 2nd during stop and go traffic. I installed the hybrid racing short shifter assembly which provided a solid and positive shift into gear over stock. The upgrade is pricey, but the install is straight forward.

I am very close to pull the trigger on Hybrid Racing shifter.
I am waiting for Acuity to release their shifter so I can compare. But Acuity shifter takes forever, and I am losing my patience. I emailed them, and they told me early 2024. They are not providing more details.

Same, I'm waiting on Acuity also. I love the silky smooth factory shifts but I'm also looking for a more mechanical, notchy feeling too. I'm interested in the Hybrid Racing one but I want to see them compared.

Here ya go. Just losen the nut and turn the shaft it's attached to. Depress clutch with hand back and forth just a little bit and you can feel slop. Adjust accordingly

It's a 12mm wrench if that helps anyone. The pedal adjustment on the front side is 17mm. I had to use a pair of pliers (wrapped in a little tape) to turn my CMC plunger. Others seem to be able to spin it with their hand.

Has anyone adjusted the clutch pedal to move the pickup point a bit lower?

The source of this issue is the CDV in the slave cylinder. That piece of plastic slows the fluid through the slave cylinder to help protect to the clutch system. you spirited drivers (speeders) are probably shifting faster/harder than the cdv can handle. That will cause lockouts/grinding

Removing the CDV in the slave will noticeably help fix the issue. Leave the MC alone.

Recently installed a raised rigid stopper, which kinda does the same thing in addition to shortening the clutch throw.

There are vids all over youtoob like this one.
I would buy a new/used oem slave and swap them. I don't drive that hard for me to do this..... but it would be helpful for those that do.

Is the grind happening when letting off he clutch, or is the grind with the clutch depressed and pulling shift knob from 1st gear to 2nd gear? 1st to 2nd feels less smooth than other shifts in terms of feeling in the shifting hand, but I wouldn’t call it a grinding sensation for me.

My experience is the latter:
"Grind" with the clutch depressed and pulling shift knob from 1st gear to 2nd gear. It's not smooth. I do get smooth shifts like 40% of the time (when I carefully/slowly shifting). Other 60% it's not smooth.
