That's a juicy tidbit. Gonna have to talk to my dealership about getting on the list

But not power train? There goes my dreams of a better looking and luxurious Civic Hybrid :(

Hopefully build quality, ventilated seats, and rear seat vents are up there. I'm 100% they'll be removing fog lights

Honestly if I could just get reverse mirror tilt and memory seats that's enough to keep me interested. I'm a simple guy.

Also Honda shows a black version of the Type R interior a week before announcing the Integra is getting refreshed šŸ‘€. Any chance this becomes an option on the 2026 Type S? Especially now that rumors are saying 2025 might be the last year for the Type R?

Iā€™m curious to know if the type s will skip the refresh. Iā€™m just basing it off of the FL5 civic which just received an update but the Type R received none of those changes and remains exactly the same.

They look nice, but I donā€™t see the point.

I would be happy if Indy yellow was an option replacing TEP, itā€™s so nice with the black. Idk how theyā€™d go about the interior styling with the color matched stitching on the inside if they do decide to make the HRC.

Did the civic si lag 1 year behind the regular civic on its recent face-lift?

Knowing my timing, I buy an ITS next month and they add ventilated seats and standard heated wheel for 2026 šŸ™ƒ.

I'm guessing... Tweaked front-end styling, panoramic moonroof, ventilated seats, updated OS on the dash to Google, and maybe wheels. Basically it has to catch up to the ADX.

SI was the odd one. It had the front end of the hatch on the sedan body.

You can dream, but they gimped the ITS on features to keep the price down and draw in some CTR kids who can go slightly more into debt. Unlikely they'll add much without a price hike. The only place you're getting heated wheels and rear seats is Canada.

Thatā€™s the other thing, would the added features add extra cost. The Type-S as it is currently priced is on the outer edges of my budget.

Type R has historically gotten refreshes a year after the other civics do, same thing happened with the FK8. So either the FL5 gets refreshed this year or it gets dropped.

Price will probably go up, but maybe not by a ton. The 2020 Civic Type R added Honda Sensing (which is pretty expensive tech) and the price went up less than $1k.
