25this thread is worthless without pics. Mine came tinted from the dealership. I did 35 on the front windshield
A bit off topic but do you already have a VIN?ITS in apex blue being delivered in the next 1-2 weeks.
What tint % looks best without being too dark for night driving/visibility?
I was thinking 35% in front side windows, and 25% in the back windows+rear. Hopefully peeps got some nice pics to drool over![]()
In the past I've typically done 35 and night vision in darker areas has been okay. Obviously it's still impacted, but not enough to where I felt "blind" like with 25.i LOVE the performance red, they don't offer it in Canada anymore
do you think you would have to roll down the windows at night with no light if they were 35% instead?
Damn ur the perfect person to ask!In the past I've typically done 35 and night vision in darker areas has been okay. Obviously it's still impacted, but not enough to where I felt "blind" like with 25.
You could always ask them to just hold up a sample to your glass to get an idea as well.Damn ur the perfect person to ask!
Thanks i will go with 35 in front, and maybe 25 in the back instead of 20. Looks plenty dark in your pic. Trying to be a little safer these days with the older eyes and response times![]()
I wasn't sure if this was true or just my imagination but the ceramic tint on my DE5 definitely is easier to look out of than my other cars that had non-ceramic tint, some even with a higher %.Ceramics make it much easier to see out of in all lighting conditions. If you live in a rural area 20% is too dark.
And as a bonus they don't block cell signal like the metallic based films they used to use!I wasn't sure if this was true or just my imagination but the ceramic tint on my DE5 definitely is easier to look out of than my other cars that had non-ceramic tint, some even with a higher %.
I was just wondering this too because a lot of pictures other people's tint seemed much darker than mine but I know I got 20% ceramics and kept questioning afterward if they messed up or something since I know 20% has always been pretty dark in the past.I wasn't sure if this was true or just my imagination but the ceramic tint on my DE5 definitely is easier to look out of than my other cars that had non-ceramic tint, some even with a higher %.
