Huge shout out to everyone who has commented on other posts. Ultimately I decided to go with the H&R lowering springs and Bonoss 20mm (all around) spacers.

Major shout out to @NSXavier for the guidance, install + alignment. A member on here posted his video about his spoon install which he mentioned "DMV area." Perfect, I've been looking for pros lol.

IMO the ride quality is almost like factory and the bonoss spacers got the offset to just perfect. To be really honest comparing each setting: comfort, sport, sport+ from stock until now, it's a marginal difference if that.

If you're from the DMV and looking for a professional to work on your car be sure to hollar at him 💯🙏🏻

(Tried to upload a video showing the stance but the file is too large. Feel free to hit me up on ig (vlow714) or check out the FB group for it or PM me here and I'll send better photos đź‘Ť)

Very nice Drop man, I ordered the 20mm bonoss spacers, but can't find the H&R lowering springs! Do you know the part number? A link would be appreciated!

I didn't cut the bumpstops, but I do hit them in comfort mode on hard dips. It's not as pronounced in sport.
Weird wouldn’t it be the opposite and you’d feel it more in sport over comfort . I believe sport is lower than comfort .

Anyone care to share some alignment specs after lowering? Mine are below; best effort by the dealership.

So a little update to my situation with the harsh ride. I rode in my father's porsche macan in the same areas and turns out the roads are just sh*t lol. It was a little better in the SUV but still uncomfortable.

Also, put the stock wheels back on for a little bit and decided if I keep them, spacers are a must. If skipping leg day was a car this would be it lmao.

Maybe a dumb question and I may have missed it through the 9 pages of messages. Are the H&R springs for the Type-S the same as those for the Type-R? I can’t find them at the usual places.

I called tirerack, they told me I needed a strut/shock upgrade with Eibach pro kit? This true? If so I should probably look into coilovers? Can someone chime in?!

As for the “skipping leg day” the fk8 is even worse. Those wheels are tucked like a dogs tail when it stole your cheese burger.
