Also interested in hearing about your springs. ITS already has .8" less ground clearance than FL5, a 1" drop will take you down to 3", which is pretty low.

Which is why it already comes with speed bump warnings.

I thought it seemed lower but the FL5 ride height isnt posted. ITS is also slightly wider

I’ve had my 6MT A-Spec for a year. Recently
I bought the 27Won front bar and brake cylinder support gadget. Tried to get it on the car last weekend, but the battery cables are not long enough to move to the left or otherwise out of the way. The bar wants to sit on the cables. When I have more time I’ll find out about either separating the cables that are taped together or if needed, sourcing longer cables and safe way to get them situated. I’d like to talk with 27One about the problem. Will post more when I can. Gonna be out of pocket for a week or so til there might be time for car fun.

Also as a side note, I used a cheapie Pittsburgh torque wrench to reinstall the strut tower nuts. It broke right off the bat as I was taking the pressure off the first nut.

I bought a Precision Instruments torque wrench. It's the manufacturer who makes them for Snapon. Split beam design is what ya want.
This is the big one . They also have a smaller 3/8"
Larger 40- 250 ft/lbs

Smaller version 120-600 inch/lbs

Thanks, friend…good tools do cost coin. It’s about what the 27Won bar cost…but then I will have what ought to be a reliable tool. Originally bought my 1/2 incher to take off/reinstall wheels on my other car for full cleanings. Hopefully Harbor Tools will refund or credit.

update: went ahead and ordered the large one bundled with the sockets. Will arrive Tuesday. I can torque my strut nuts and quit being nervous. TYVM for the links.

I am curious if the strut tower bars they're selling will fit the ITS. I love everything about the car. But there is some noticeable body roll when driving in a spirited fashion. I think it would help stiffen the car up just enough. But I hate to buy something that doesn't fit and go through sending it back.

Just my 2 cents, but unless you want that nostalgic look, I would spend the money on springs or the FL5 ADS instead. It's unlikely you are getting enough chassis flex for it to feel like body roll and I think several reviews mentioned it also so it isn't just you.

I was planning RV6 downpipe but the TSP no CEL version is appealing to me now.
Has anyone heard good things about the difference between the two? I'll scour the FL5 forum for info as well.

There have been reports that the RV6 doesn't trip the CEL
I'll let you know

That would be awesome, thanks! What color did you cerakote?

I've heard reports of both with the RV6 - so if one says it definitely won't (& hopefully works with us if there is an issue) then I'll probably go that route. I just despise CEL's - seen too many of them that dictated repairs. Plus I'd like it to come on if there's a separate issue.

I went TSP for that reason, not worth taking a chance for me. Also, need to verify if it's true no cel or no cel with defouler. I think 90% of the time the RV6 is fine, but was worth it to me to pay a little more for TSP for peace of mind.

Also, if you are searching FL5 forums, the TSP DP is the PRL version, they took over production when PRL stepped away due to EPA crackdowns. Buy your DPs early, they will continue to dissapear...
