Someone made a website that shows a map of availability for the Integra Type S (based on a similar site he did for the Civic Type R). That should give you a better idea of where you'll see more of them.

I see a few Integras every week in my area (Chicago Suburbs). Hadn't seen any other Type S for almost 3 months after I bought mine - spotted my first one the other day. Funnily enough, it was the demo model that I test drove before buying my car (I talked to the guy and he said he bought it at the same dealer, and that mine was also his first).

Count me in for driving in Sport+ and listening to that sweet exhaust note to celebrate.
I'm in the Chicago NW burbs and have only seen one ITS on the street. Launch edition the same day I was picking up my own 3 months ago.

It's nice to know more of them are slowly showing up in our area. On one hand I kinda like the exclusivity, but on the other it does get a bit lonely. Not sure how your experience has been so far, but when I wave to non-ITS Integras on the road, no one bats an eye. Other than the one Type S I saw, I also got a thumbs up from a late 90s/early 2000s Prelude.

Here's hoping to more of us in the area soon and possibly someone will plan a meetup of some kind.

I most definitely like the exclusivity. I don't get much attention from other non-Type S Integras, or at least none that I've noticed. I haven't waved yet... will have to do that. I came from a C8 and regularly did the Corvette Wave to all the various years of Vettes I saw. I most definitely would wave to another ITS.

Would love to get a Chicago-area ITS meetup going!

I love it when there's a wave for certain groups. For me it started with the bike wave (pretty much everyone except Harleys waved back). On my GTI it was 50/50, but I feel like those and the non-S Integras have a broader audience where cars like ours are 100% geared toward some level of enthusiast.
I haven't seen any FL5s since I got my car either, but when I do I'll wave - I'm curious to see how many of them will recognize and embrace the ITS as a close relative.
