My OEM titanium knob does not have this glossy of a finish, nor the red shift pattern. Do you have a part number for this?

edit- I actually had to literally walk out to my car in my garage, because nearly every image returned by a Google search had the red shift pattern and I thought I was taking crazy pills.

This is what mine looks like, but again I was expecting it to have this semi-glossy satin finish as shown in this picture- it basically doesn't reflect light at all lol.

It's still pretty nice and I'm not convinced I'd even get a new one but just curious.

I don’t have the part number, but after googling around, it appears to be a Honda Access S660 knob? I purchased it used from an NSX owner who I believe also ran it on his s2000.

I realized we're getting closer to Black Friday and so this is both my least favorite and most favorite time of the year.

On the plus side I'm a few hundred lighter. On the negative side the lightened units are dollars.

i have the stage 2 kit from acuity and will be upgrading to their full solution as well. @wontondon
Have you done the stage 2 kit yet? I have had it for a while and will be doing it next week at my BIL’s place, he is a big car guy. I am apprehensive about tearing the car apart and looking for things to watch out for. Also doing the PRL HVI at the same time.

Yeah, it's a pretty straight forward install. The only tricky part is using a hammer to remove one the retain clip

Thanks for the feedback, I have several of your videos bookmarked but for some reason not this one. I had the one from koaTitus. I want to make sure I put everything back together good so no rattles. The car is rattle free right now and want to keep it that way. I have the Acuity insulated shift knob and love it.

Meant to ask, did you install the O ring that is supposed to proactively stop the clicking sound in the odd gears (I think)? Was thinking I should so I don't have to do a tear down after the fact if the clicking shows up.

Picked up and installed the Mugen weighted alcantara with red stitch shift knob this afternoon. Matches perfectly with the OEM steering wheel and Overland Designs center counsel piece. Really nice feel with this knob mated to the Hybrid racing shifter. I’m going for the GT3RS interior feel.

I’m going have that red piece in front of the passenger reupholstered in suede with red stitch as well.

I purchased two of these shift knobs because I’ll be giving one away when I post up my Black Friday sale.
