Very cool! How much does the cf hood weigh as compared to the stocker? I looked on seibons site, but they don't mention weight.

Checking in with my most recent ventures down the modding hole. Didn't want you guys thinking I called it quits with modding or something.

Did the "Racing Black" conversion for the HVAC dials and vent arms.

Acura Integra What did you do to your Integra Type S today? ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ IMG_20250321_230228_Bokeh

Which model had the black vent arms? I know the dials came on the accord.

Thanks!

Black dials are off of the Accord and HRV (cheaper to buy used)
The vent arms are off of the CRV (much cheaper to buy new)

P/Ns below for the vents (you scavenge them for the arms)
(2x) 776133a0a01za (passenger's side vent), these are cheaper individually but require a little more work to get the arms swapped
(1x) 772453a0a01za (center vents, pair), these are a little more expensive overall but easier to swap out without having to swap arms, you can swap the entire center vent assemblies. Still need to swap out the arms for the driver's and passenger's side.

You could also just get 4 of the passenger's side vents and swap out all the arms if you're on super tight budget but the savings is only about $5 overall. Better to get the center vents and 2 side vents.

I'm working on a replacement for the volume knob but I haven't come across an all black knob that would work yet.

Would you happen to have the OEM passenger side vent part no? I snapped mine off taking it apart.

I have my Eibach arms (same thing as the SPC just a different paint job) in the box ready to go on. I'm contemplating if I want to do it or pay a shop to do it because I also have a rear sway and end links to go on as well.

2 hours isn't bad but anytime something becomes "fun" I consider what else I could be doing instead...

Yeah. I almost had someone else do it because it looked like a pain. I probably could have finished faster if I grabbed all my tools to start.
Driver side I could only hold the bolt with 2 fingers to get it back in and align it. I taped the bolt to my fingers because it kept slipping back.. ๐Ÿ˜†
