Man I appreciate you so much for taking the extra pictures for me. I had a feeling it was going to be very close by this puts me at ease until the wheels get delivered and I can physically verify. I mean it'll be too late by then since the wheels will be on-hand but the anticipation is killing me!

Lol at the first picture.
Happy to do it! Definitely keep us updated with how it works out!

Previously had a Renegade extended shift knob on the car, but didn’t like how it felt as it was too top heavy.

Finally swapped it out today for this OEM Honda titanium knob. Looks and feels so much better

lol good to know – for some reason my browser always takes me to the page that post is on when I come to the forums so I've been wondering
I have an OEM one with less than 200 miles on it. I replaced it proactive. Lemme know if you are interested - it's on eBay right now but will sell for cheaper here :)

For anyone interested I found a good aftermarket trunk struts. This one is 445N/100lbs. I ended up pairing one factory and one aftermarket because the aftermarket "bumped" at the top of it's range and the factory one is a hair shorter so it stops the travel before it reaches the end. Trunk opens by itself and can be closed with one hand!

I appreciate it but I did the same. Got a Schmuck Built one.

My question was just morbid curiosity. I must have seen his post and wondered at least 50 times hahaha

My OEM titanium knob does not have this glossy of a finish, nor the red shift pattern. Do you have a part number for this?

edit- I actually had to literally walk out to my car in my garage, because nearly every image returned by a Google search had the red shift pattern and I thought I was taking crazy pills.

This is what mine looks like, but again I was expecting it to have this semi-glossy satin finish as shown in this picture- it basically doesn't reflect light at all lol.

It's still pretty nice and I'm not convinced I'd even get a new one but just curious.

I was confused too. I've seen ebay listing for the red lettering shiny knob and it was often listed as aluminum instead of titanium...? If it's aluminum I'd expect it to be like 170g or so.

I like the red lettering though!

The titanium shift knob for the DE5 is the same part# as the S2000 shift knob. It's more of a matte finish. I have the same, was a bit disappointed that the lettering was not red though but I do have a skunk2 shift knob on the side if I ever want to change things up.
