I do my own oil changes and I prefer my fumoto valve for the ease and I don’t have to worry about the crush washer or over torquing the drain bolt. fumoto f106 m14 makes it faster for me. I will take pics when I reach the miles to change it.
yo that shit is fire lol

is this the one? also do we need the adapter??

Oil filter: 15400-PLM-A02
Crush Washer: 94109-14000

Guys, replace the damn washer. It's common sense and costs little to nothing. Use your heads...

I get the original f106, I bought it but haven’t installed it yet. I will do a writeup when that time comes.

Do you recommend Amsoil Signature series synthetic for oil?
i've used only it for years now. i've long heard that amsoil sig is one of the best synthetic oils you can use

I was planning on going Fumoto as well. Then I thought Spoon magnetic with crush would also be nice. Does Fumoto have a magnetic option also that you know of?

reading online I do not think it has magnet option. I find the fumoto to be easy and less messy and need one less tool when doing the oil.

I got the oil filter and washer at my local dealership; $9.xx for the filter and $0.58 for the washer. I also saw a 64mm oil cap wrench on the wall at the parts department and picked it up too since I don't have one and prefer that to a strap wrench, which also won't allow being able to torque the filter back on to spec.

Forgot to say that crush washers is only for the oil drain plug.

14mm is for the oil drain plug
18mm is for the CVT drain plug
20mm is for the Manual drain plugs

18mm: 90471-PX4-000
20mm: 94109-20000

I'm confused... what are the 18mm and 20mm drain plugs? Transmission fluid plugs?

Also, I'm curious if these parts/part numbers are interchangeable with Honda? There's a Honda dealership much closer to me than the local Acura dealership...

For draining CVT or Manual trans fluids for servicing those crush washers need replacing also.
The numbers is how they differentiate in the description when you look up the part #. It’s all crush washer, just different sizes.

Yes, part numbers are the same across the board. So they can be bought at a Honda dealer or Acura dealer.

Heads up to my fellow Canucks who plan on changing their own oil (or bring oil to the dealership), Pennzoil Ultra Platinum is on sale at Canadian Tire, $39 for 5L with a $10 Online rebate where you can claim it by e-transfer. Combined with Triangle rewards I got 10L for less than $50 all in.
