Call me OCD but I run mine through a touchless car wash 2 or 3 times a week and dry it off by hand. I see just about every scratch and nick when I dry it.. having this beauty dirty would kill me.

😂 My interior is a different situation, tinted windows help hide that mess. Still need to hose the tux mats out from the winter. Chemical Bros leather sent spray and their new car smell helps mask the fart odors.

Speaking of odors, the ITS noticeably does not have much of a new car smell, or is it just me?

I think that smell is supposed to be adhesives and glue etc so maybe "premium" materials mitigated that?

Admittedly, I like that smell...................

I finally gave rinseless a try (absolute) and even though there was a HUGE mental block at first, I am trusting the science behind it and so far after 3 rinseless washes, I don't see any marring or swirls.

I can get the car clean (sans wheels) in just a little over half an hour which is great for maintenance.

I think it might just be you because I can definitely smell the new car smell in my car, but then again I have only had it for 4 days. A friend of mine said it has the classic new honda smell that he remembers from the 90's

It had a bit of it the first few days but it wasn't very strong and it quickly dissipated.

I'm super weird about preserving it too. I don't do food in my cars and for the first year, I never drove around with the windows rolled down nor did I drink coffee in my last car to try and keep it smelling new as long as possible....

Interesting. I think its just your nose getting used to the smell after you drive the car a handful of times. I normally don't smell it too strongly after I've been in the car for like 5 minutes, and I usually get hit with the new car smell the hardest when I first open the door. I'm not too crazy about food/drinks in my car but that is mainly because I don't eat in any of my cars cause grease from food annoys me since it makes me not want to touch the steering wheel. So, food is usually just in a bag whenever it is in my car

I've definitely noticed the "new car smell" dissipating much quicker on the ITS. My BMW still had the new car smell after 3 years.

It's better off that way but toxic chemicals do smell so good..

The car is always so dirty though; but like I said can't prove it.

The detailer says she'll try and wet sand it.

It is what it is, I live in a shit hole town in a shit hole country...
Wet the area, if the scratches/swirls disappear when wet it’s totally fixable. If it’s still there well then it’s a little deeper and would need actual paint to correct it

I typically do the no wash-sign but don't do the seat covers because I always have had leather interior but that's not a bad idea with the alcantara!

What kind of seat cover do you have for this?
Right on. I use these universal fit neoprene surf covers from Shapers. They were reasonably priced at Tilly’s a while back so I scooped a pair for my partner and my frequent beach trips in the summer

i hit up my wheels with my power washer and use a leafblower to dry them and that only takes a couple of minutes and works great.
