Clicking noise from left front ONLY when turning right...

Any chance it's the front brake pad shifting up and down in the caliper? I've experienced the little pad shift when going from reverse to drive, usually backing out of the driveway situation, or a parking lot, when I'm more likely to have a lot of steering input.

Interesting idea... not sure. I'm hearing the sound going at a constant slow speed in a circle with wheel turned right all the way to lock. If there were any brake pad shifting I think it would happen at varying speed.

I recall someone having a loose swaybar link and it was making sounds. I would retorque all the suspension components and see if the sound is eliminated.

I'll let the tech know. Will be taking the car in Tuesday.

just to be clear on the pad shift, in my case it's a click only when the car goes from reverse to drive, once the car's only going forward, you can stop and go as much as you like and the pad doesn't move again. Just a softish sounding single click. I had it on my previous car too.

If it happens when unwinding the wheel could be cable reel. If it's while the wheel is all the way turned only, it could be rubbing (check for signs of wear). And if it happens when turned close to and at the limit of turn, then could be ball or cv joint.

Yep, it's at the limit of turn. Between a ball/cv or tie rod, or loose sway bar those are the top potential causes so far. Hoping it's just a pebble stuck somewhere it doesn't belong. Given the car is about a year old and seen some autox time, a bolt tightening or two seems likely.

If all it took was a few autox events to loosen bolts, they weren't tight to begin with. Autox is honestly quite mild on the car. It's less than 60mins of driving for an entire season typically, and for most people it's less than 30 mins.

Update for everyone. Just came back from dealership and noise is gone. Went on test drive with tech, he heard it, wasn't sure what it was, but they took the wheel off, blew on some stuff, checked for anything loose or damaged, and gave it back to me. Tested it out and it's like it never happened. Glad it wasn't anything. Probably a leaf or rock or stick stuck somewhere. Thanks everyone for all the input. Postiive outcome.

I'll also throw out that I had a HIDEOUS scraping noise a few months ago that went away after a day or so. Perhaps these cars are just prone to rocks getting stuck in places that cause noises.

Can confirm rocks getting stuck in the brake shield is a nuisance. I'm not sure if it's any sports car or just a Honda thing but in the past 11 years it happens frequently if you drive anywhere with gravel.

Only tip I can suggest in my experience, steering angle greatly increases the chance of a rock getting in. Obviously steer as much as you need to not crash but minimizing it in dusty/dirty areas helps a lot.

Once a rock is in, just reverse (where safe to do so) and slalom a bit. 9 times out of 10 it rectifies it.
