Now I got a problem.
I bought the folding kit from Mike and asked a shop to install for me.
But I found the whole thing in reserve.

When the button is pressed(down), the mirrors are unfold.

When the button is up, the mirrors are fold.

When I lock the car, the mirrors unfold.

When I unlock the car, the mirrors folded.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Thanks in advance
The directions on their site say if that's happening, you need to de-pin and swap the 2 wires (I believe they are green and blue) coming from the mirror motors. This can be done either inside the mirror housing (probably a pain to take them apart again) or inside the doors where those wires attach to the main harness. You'd have to do it for both sides of the car.

Akoza,
I will ask my shop to switch the wires.
Thanks

Does anyone have issues with alignment angle of their passenger mirror?

I got the kit and I installed the driver's without issue but the passenger doesn't seem to line up correctly and I cannot figure out how to make it fit right.

Red is the wrong angle
Teal is the correct angle it's supposed to be at.

I'm assuming the base is properly aligned where the cables and 3 screws go in? I think I remember there being an alignment tab so it could only go in one way.
I had the same thing happen with my driver's side and the position was a bit off. I plugged it in to test it and it resolved itself - I think the motor was possibly stuck and needed to go through its normal range once.

Thanks. I messed with it a bit and managed to get it manually lined up. I had to take the motor assembly apart and remove the gear to line it back up correctly. Luckily I put it back together and installed it and it worked 😅

I was looking at the switch the other night and I was questioning if it was backlit or not. I guess it's supposed to be. Not a huge deal but I wonder if I can find a way to add led or just replace the entire switch if it's supposed to light up.
Yea it's definitely supposed to have the backlight oem i've seen JDM FL5 videos on youtube ans they have the switch backlight at night driving... sucks the mikstore switch doesnt have the backlight ... could add the LED or buy a switch that has the light

@stanleywinthrop the part number you list for the mirror switch you purchased from Yamato doesn't appear to be correct. It looks to be for a trim piece, not the mirror switch. I did find these alternative mirror switches on their website, could one of these be correct?
Also, do you see the folding mirror option like Integra23 posted here?

I'm not sure what to tell you on the switch. The part number in my thread is the exact part number I ordered from JDM yamato, and in fact the correct switch showed up in my mail a few weeks later. I just went back and checked the original order email and it lists that part number.

When i go back to JDM, it still lists the correct part:

335190-T20-J22Switch ASSY., Remote control mirror1

I was looking at that all wrong. Didn't realize the name/description didn't change w/ the selected part from the diagram.

Same price as the C kit. I'm not sure what's really different.
The explanation on their page says there's less wiring harness. F is for cars that already have BSI and heating, where C includes additional harness to support this.
