How to remove part of dash to get to bar behind Apillar ( Please Help )

So I’m sure many have you seen my previous post regarding me being plagued with a rattle . I have been trying to figure it out every weekend with no luck taking various things apart . A glimpse of hope possibly was spotted today but I have no clue how to get to it . Upon taking off the a pillar there is hole I circled in red . In that hole is a white metal painted bar I can see touching up against some other line with the white paint being removed from rubbing . I can’t get a picture as it’s dark and I only spotted this with a flash light . Does anyone know what it is or what I am talking about ? Any easy way to get to that metal bar and maybe bend it away ? Attaching images circled in red to show where it’s located .

Maybe a stupid idea but what if you spray some low expansion foam down in that area?

Reckon you could get some felt tape in there somehow? Or wedge a piece of foam/rubber in the area that's making contact to see if it has any effect?

I’ll try but it seems like it may be really hard as it’s tight to get in there and at an angle . I’d almost need to be a surgeon to perform something like this . If only I could easily get a bit of access to that area .

There is no partial dash removal, unfortunately.. its basically remove it or not lol, but here is the information you're looking for

Thanks , do you by any chance know what the circled image is . I cannot find it in that pdf link and would like to find out before I rip things apart .
