This list has gotten very long and ever changing.
can I get an updated list of dealers selling Type S for MSRP in or around CT, so NY, MA, RI or CT?

I want to buy now if possible, rather than wait til December as I previously planned, but I don't know where to call.
I'm hoping to make some calls tomorrow and see if I can locate a car or a dealer willing and able to allocate me one for MSRP that I can close a deal with this week.
I have $6k down and a trade, I was hoping to find a car at MSRP or within 2k of it, I did have a list of accessories I would be willing to buy if need be, adding up to around $2k but I can also live without them.
Thanks for any information that would help me as far as dealers who have cars for MSRP ready to go now.
I'm picking up my Type S from Acura of Peabody this week, they've stuck to MSRP and no forced options. The only other dealer around here that I know people bought at MSRP is Sunnyside in NH

You are correct, Sunnyside is MSRP, but I believe they have a waitlist of at least 30 as of a couple of weeks ago.

There is Peabody Acura or Sunnyside Acura, so Sunnyside?
I contacted them both.
I also heard back from the Og deal I made for Jan.
To buy an RDX after, they would sell me the type s at MSRP.
But also, would give me 8 months or so to buy the RDX after taking delivery of the Type S.
Not sure if I will hear back from either N H dealer, but I do like options, so I hope so.

For those on the Tri-State area, I purchased my LSM from Bill Vince Bridgewater Acura. They are charging MSRP + $399 for a “security guard”.

I originally had an allocation for MBP/Red so that car is likely up for grabs. Build date was planned for the week of 17-Jul but there has not been updates from the manufacturer. Expected to be delivered sometime in August last I checked.

They do have a list, 12 to 30 deep, But they always sell at MSRP, and I am sending them a deposit tpop be on that list.
this is my best chance to get one for sticker, without a bunch of add ons.

I planned to save until December anyway, so this just extends that a bit, probably be waiting until April or May 2024 to get the car I want, but to me it is worth it if I don't have to worry, search for and make deals along the way.

I knew coming here today would help me find the dealer I want.

Peabody did tell me, they don't sell to out of state people unless it is a border state, they try to serve their community, so if you are coming from New Jersey or Indiana, they say they won't sell to you.
Who knows.
I'm glad I found them and got on the list, I don't mind the wait, my thinking is maybe we get a slight refresh ion some things that could be better before the new ones roll out.
Thanks to you guys who helped me with this.

Just make sure that the bill of sale lists your deposit as refundable. You may find a model between now and when they get one in stock.

As fate would have it tonight, after I was set to make this deposit tomorrow, I get a call from a local dealer has the car on the lot, no accessories and no mark up and if I want it, I can have it.
so tomorrow I send the deposit to get finance approved and if it is accepted, I will have my car within a week.
funny how life is timing.
Edit.
It might not fly though, I had planned to save up 20k to use as a down pymt but as of now I have $5k or $6 so the issue might be with that small of a dwn pymt and high interest the terms might just not be good and if so, Ill just have to wait as I planned originally.
If it does go through and I can afford the terms, well then, I will have my ITS next week.

Did you try Nalley Acura in Marietta GA? That was the dealership i got my ITS at and they don’t have ADM or forced accessories. But i think they have a long waiting list. It is worth the call though. Talk to Chris Pugh, he is great.

Another point to Nalley. I picked up my ITS last Saturday there.
For sure I was far behind in the list but my requirements were simple. Any exterior color except black.
They called many people last Thursday to get rid of a Tiger Eye Teg that came by surprise in the shipment (that was their story)
I was the only one ready to go, so here I'm with a Teg in the garage that was expecting to have next year.

Their wait list was 70 people deep as of 8/5/2023

Thanks yea i have reached out to most dealerships listed on the forum(within a 6 hour drive), but a lot of them have wait lists of 8+ people. Ended up getting one ordered with the Mungenast St Louis Dealership, no markup and only a 199 admin fee. They required a 1k deposit and they currently have their demo model for sale with 9k worth of accessories and 600 miles on it. Its listed on their site for around 52k so idk if thats with the accessories or not. Also its white with the red interior.

I also called surrounding dealers just so we could get this list grown and help some save time on their search.

And another for Nalley Acura in Marietta, GA. I test drove their demo back in June and they are in fact MSRP. Doc fee is high but no forced add-ons. I wouldn't be discouraged by the waiting list of 70+. I've found over the years that everyone is interested until it's time to pay. I would consider maybe a 1/4 of the people on the list are serious buyers. So long as you're somewhat open on color, timing, and don't have a unique financial situation you should be good. It may take some time, but I wouldn't be too concerned.

Agree with that. Plus the Sales Manager, Charles, said that they do not take a deposit now since the waiting list is so long and they cannot guarantee delivery timing. So if that is still true, then there is no reason not to put your name on the list.

I can vouch for Nalley Acura as well. Got an MDX from them and their GM David is a nice guy. I’m #19 on the list and might get called sometime in Q2 next year.
