PRL versus 27WON versus just leaving it stock? In my case this may be the only performance upgrade I put into the drivetrain besides a K&N Air Filter. Thoughts and opinions?

I recently put in the PRL, and have been very satisfied with that. Just a little more rumble at idle, and when the AC compressor kicks in at idle, but otherwise you wouldn’t even know you had it. Until you go to punch it at low speeds!

Has anyone tried the urethane insert from Whiteline? It seems like it could be a good compromise with regard to not increasing NVH much.

don't put too stiff of mount on there. it can transmit stress to the gearbox and other parts of the car that the rmm would normally absorb. typically resulting in increased NVH but could also potentially crack aluminum bellhousing, block, etc.

you should try the yellow (street) Powerflex inserts. Less NVH than PRL. very soft feeling compared to Whiteline.

I did the PRL on my Aspec 6spd and a month or two later when I went to take off the splash shield to do an oil change, one of the screws closest to the RMM was missing. I assume it was due to the increased vibration from the stiffer mount and suspect that has lessened as it broke in but it does have me wanting to check the actual tightness of the RMM bolts themselves even know I doubt its an issue with their hefty size.
