What service did you have done, recently?
Car hasn’t been in for service since I got it. I just changed the oil and a nut fell when I removed the under tray which has sent me down a rabbit hole of where did this come from. …

It could be an extra that they lost in production (i.e. it didn't fall off anything).

That’s what I was figuring too, besides the part that one of the under tray silver philps head bolts was already missing and then the random holes I could see looking behind the motor from the top. Anybody look behind there motor on the passenger side? Just look down between the firewall and motor and tell me if you see 2 holes facing up which look to be by the steering rack.

Installed PRL intercooler and charge pipes yesterday. Also messed up something with the sensors in the front bumper πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

1600 miles in and not waiting for the coolant reservoir to start leaking so replaced it with the Mishimoto aluminum reservoir. The description still says FK8 but definitely fits the DE5.

PRL Strut Tower Brace as well. Torqued to 46 ft/lbs if anyone is curious since the instructions don't state it.

PRL Rear motor mount. Torqued to 69 ft/lbs. No pic since I forgot. Definitely feel the vibration at start up but probably still needs to break in a bit. No more bad wheel hop!

Also installed the splash guards.

Did my first HPDE this weekend, was fun. Instructors were impressed with the car. Will post pics once the photographer posts them. Highly recommend to anyone considering.

Interesting. I wonder if the rubber trim will be cleaned up and not split into small segments like shown.

I'm not sure until it arrives but it doesn't bother me. I'll post pics and small review after I install and test it out. May be another month or so.

Do these fl5 intakes even fit? My understanding was the intakes wouldn’t work across both but maybe I’m wrong

I had one for my e46 M3 a few years back. The sound was awesome, and it looked pretty sweet when the hood was open. lol

Even with that I couldn't believe I spent $1K+ on an intake. The one for our cars is $1650? Yikes. it definitely looks good. (If someone else does it first and it sounds great...maybe me 2nd) Who's going to be the guinea pig?

Looks pretty generic. If it bothered you, you could probably replace it with a single strip.
