A Civic did try to blindly merge into me yesterday so I can sympathize.

RBF600 is great, and you won't have any problems. That's my go-to for track cars. I used to use ATE Typ200 and ATE Super Blue, but the 600 is just as good, slightly cheaper, and lasts longer.
Yeah the 600 is fantastic. I've run the 660 and srf before, in addition to several others, but the 600 always seems the most stable longer term. 660 is just way too sensitive. I've had it work great, but usually one event tops and it needs a bleed, especially on humid days.

Ugh... Today I had a stupid person try to merge into me on an off ramp with no indicators. Instead of slamming the brakes I accelerated ahead of him as he basically did his best to run me off the road.

Anyway, the moron followed me to the gas station where I was filling up and decides to go off on me for his stupidity he didn't realize he caused.

All this to say somewhere in there I got the "Oh, your probably driving your father's car".

I'm flattered people think I'm young enough to not be able to own this car. Anybody else have this happen to them (minus the road rage)?
I thought Canadians were supposed to be super nice.

Recent updates: Mugen Door protectors, Mugen interior protectors, Mugen window vents, Mugen brake sock, Skunk 2 shift knob, some stickers, broke the starter button, stalled it in third today at a traffic light because i was looking for my credit card after stopping at harbor freight and thought the lady at the register snatched it cause she grabbed it since their machine wasnt working, then burned the clutch slipping it in a fury of embarrassment. ordered 1600 dollars in Ammo NYC stuff, started an instagram for it, and am about to go out and put some Password JDM beauty fasteners around, since the dealership forgot to install two bolts for the splash panel under the engine when we got it inspected, which fyi does not hold up at 150, it hits the highway bumps, but only has minor road rash....#postdumpover.

Didn't password:jdm shutter their doors a while back?

I feel you on 3rd gear. The gates in this car are so narrow... I've been confident several times I was in 1st only to find out I was in 3rd. Once happened twice in a row where I KNOW I popped it out of gear rocked side to side, then went all the way over and all the way forward....still in 3rd 😑.

Also, grammar is your friend, man! Punctuation is important, lol 😅🙃.

My mom was an English teacher. Grammar Shamar. I actually hadn’t even shifted out of third. I stopped and panicked. Password JDM did go under. Then got bought by password Jdm LLC. That went under and are now owned by technocraft composites. The dc2 got some new body parts!

Anyone got any tips for getting a driver side fender that is prepainted? Some dummy crunched my fender :(

Most body panels need to be blended so they're typically sold unpainted. Your best bet may be a junkyard/parts car if you could find one but it might still require blending.

I did see some carbon fiber fenders being released but the quality seems dubious and for what they are (carbon fiber veneers over fiberglass), there's a high carbon fiber tax.

Sorry about your fender though, hope you get it back good as new.

The plastic pieces come prepainted and the metal pieces come primed from what I've seen.

These fenders are stupid cheap, though. I've found a few oem sources for less than 200$, which you could have your local dealer price match. Raw primed panel should be pretty cheap to have painted since there's virtually no prep work. If you have a pearl finish, it will never look 100% matched. They can get 99% close, and most people won't notice, but if you have a sharp eye, you're better off having a custom paint shop take their time blending. The average body shop will not be able to do it perfectly, despite any claims.

I think there are a few online dealers of "prepainted oem parts" which you can purchase. They like to charge about 500$ per panel in addition to cost of the panel. I've seen them but personally have no experience using them.

I've been an advocate for AmmoNYC for a while now, been using Larry's products since at least 2015. Also I can see how easily you could spend thousands once you factor in the tools he sells. I'm not sure if they're overpriced or not but I will admit I paid about $200 for an orbital buffer and it worked JUST fine. Unless you're starting a business I think you might have overpaid.

But on that note! I finally got around to applying the Reflex Pro II on my car this past weekend. I have some... feelings about it. It looks absolutely incredible from most angles... but particularly on the front (which is PPF'd), it left a pretty god awful haze that is visible in directly reflected light sources, e.g., sun or light bulbs. I've used the original Reflex Pro a half dozen times and never had this issue applying it the exact same way (i.e., wash, clay, IPA, apply)... but also the "slickness" and "reflectiveness" is absolutely amazing.

I don't know what I did wrong, and I'm really hoping the haze clears up after a wash or two. Otherwise I'll never, ever use this product again, and it'll be my first negative experience using Larry's products.

I haven't taken any pics yet because of how disappointed I am with the haze, which is almost surely not visible in pictures anyway. I'll try to capture the haze in a pic if I can, and get around to taking pictures of a finally clean car in the next day or two.
