Thanks. Both are awesome but so different. I have to say that the M3 is way more comfortable and powerful but the ITS is by far the more enjoyable to drive.

Your other thread, which I greatly appreciate, says this fits on the rear only. Thank you for doing all of that research and work. It makes sense that this would only fit in the rear, given the size of the front brakes.

Thanks! Yep, just a quick scuff, acetone, then gloss black spray. If I need to touch them up in the future, give me something easy to do. Lol

i had a '24 M3CS that I traded in for an ITS. the M3 was way more impressive (speed was other worldly, carbon fiber everywhere ) and those bucket seats were my alltime favorite of any car. you're definitely right ... the M3s are an animal but the ITS is just plain fun! both are awesome cars and you're lucky to have both!

i think the CS had a newer infotainment than earlier G80s, but the fact that you had to go through numerous menus to adjust your fan speed and recirculation was obnoxious! haha. that was my only real gripe... oh and no cupholders, just a bottle holder in the door....

Yes, you are right. The curved screen is really beautiful and the large screen for the infotainment is cool. But the infotainment itself is not very user friendly. When I just bought it, it was borderline dangerous when I took a lot of attention from the road to adjust my ac and temp. Now I have gotten use to it.

And yesterday I took the M3 to some twisty roads to see how it stacks with the ITS. First, the best way to enjoy it is by using the shifter. Second, the steering can only be set to sport and it felt lighter than the ITS in sport+. So the M3 felt less firm to maneuver than the ITS. Again the best part of it is the power as I could accelerate really quick on straight roads. With the mods and tune I have done, the ITS is not that far behind.

as much as i love the ITS .. to me, the M3CS felt like on another planet as far as grip and speed. you may have the RWD and perhaps the AWD was a big factor for me. again, doesn't make it fun, but just punching it and having the power go to the ground was insane in that car. i saw them put the M4CSL up against the GT3RS and Z06 (hagerty) .. the bimmer lost overall but it's straight line speed was as good/better in the straights, iirc. wild. the stock ITS i feel like struggles for grip so much already that i probably won't mod it. sounds like you're properly enjoying yours though!

have you made it over to road atlanta with either of the cars?

One would hope so at more than double the price. With an MSRP of $52k versus $118k, I've said it before but I'll say it again, for the fact that the ITS is even part of the same conversation, that's high praise.

absolutely. fun is my main goal. I also like having a very track capable car in the garage. The M3CS was good on track but less fun out there than I’d hoped. when I traded my M3 for the ITS I never really regretted it. In a perfect world I would’ve kept the M3 also. The only car I would’ve traded that ITS in for was a C8 Z06. that was my bar. I did get the call and traded the ITS for the Z which is another powerhouse. I missed the ITS so much I had to get another one though lol. perfect pairing imo. Both are perfect for me at their respective tasks.

Agree on the grip on the ITS, and it is worse with the mods/tune. I will be trying two things to hopefully improve the grip: 1. Install a PRL rear motor mount and 2. Get 275 tires. I also have to say that the tune made the ITS so much more fun, even if it sacrificed the grip. The car just flies in 3rd and 4th gear, especially after 4k rpm.

And I have not been to Road Atlanta yet but will look into it since I am only a couple of hours away from it.
