Like a remote starter on the 6MT model for those of us who park in Neutral with the parking brake on? Still a little bitter. For all the awesome tech in this car there are some weird omissions
For sure....I hadn't thought of the radio off delay, but that's another one that I'm guessing would have cost very little! For all the awesome tech in this car there are some weird omissions
How often have you had push start fail on you?Nooo I fucking hate that feature. So glad it doesn't exist. You know what would be better, give us a normal key so we can choose what we want to do with our shit. Push start doesn't work half the time anyway.
Maybe one out of every three tries it doesn't go on the first push. It could be that the clutch wasn't all the way in or I didn't hold it long enough, but the resultant beeping and treating you like an idiot is not what anyone wants out of a car.How often have you had push start fail on you?
I'm pretty sure I'm just ham-handing it. When you're slow and deliberate it works as it should, but if you're trying to hurry it slaps you down and reminds you who's in charge. Never had this in any keyed vehicle. I'm not the only one who finds this thing picky.Could it be a bad sensor?
This car is a little different than other manuals I've had. It's not that you have to hold the push start down for awhile but rather need to have the clutch fully depressed down until the cluster completes the start up needle sweep as it settles into idle. You're probably releasing the clutch too quickly after startup, I don't think it's the push button.Maybe one out of every three tries it doesn't go on the first push. Strange. I have not had an issue and just depress brake and clutch then press the button fully. Start right up every time. Now if you release the clutch before it's fully started it will terminate the startingI'm pretty sure I'm just ham-handing it. Windows can still be oprated in the Fit after you shut off the car. But the radio won't work...It seems like every car I’ve had for the past 30 years allows the accessories to work 3-5 minutes after shutting off the car as long as you didn’t open the door. Can’t understand why this isn’t a feature of the Integra. I could swear that the Honda Fit I had 15 years ago did this.
