Not sure if this is the right spot, but saw a thread about losing pops and burbles after doing mods or OTS tunes.

I disconnected my ground before I pulled my front bumper off to install front splitter just to be safe. After I reinstalled, dash lit up like a christmas tree. P0560 and P068A courtesy of autozone - they told me they couldn't clear the codes. Drove it 100 miles and it finally cleared on its own but as title suggests car lost its pops/bangs. Guessing there's a gremlin code stuck some where far up the ass of the ECU.

Rather just handle it on my own than go to dealer - suggestions on best tool for the job? Or other solution?

For context, only mods done are catback exhaust and PRL HVI. Never had any issues until disconnecting my battery this time around.

This usually happens to me when I disconnect the battery. After a couple of drive cycle everything returns to normal. Go for another quick drive or two and you should be good once the car warms up. If it's still giving you trouble, any OBD II reader with the ability to clear codes will work.

FWIW I have an ObdLink LX adapter with Torque app, haven't had to use it on the Integra yet but it's been a great tool for my previous cars.

Exactly like Tw1stedlog1k
says, it seems like it takes +10 miles or a cycle or two after disconnecting your battery before the burbles return. But they'll be back..... ;)
It's been 300 miles, and turned on/off car for multiple trips at least 10 times this week šŸ˜… I think I'll try disconnecting my battery again tomorrow and reconnecting. If that doesn't work, the tool @Tw1stedlog1k shared sounds promising. Harbor freight I'm sure has something also.

Iā€™ve had this happen to me and my car is stock. Itā€™s a ghost code that youā€™ll have to clear. Make sure you car is in accessory mode with the engine off and then clear. Turn off the car let it sit for a second and then youā€™ll be good to go. I picked up a cheap obd2 scanner at the local auto store for about $30. Also this car gets pissed when you drive hard past 4500ish rpm before engine gets to full temp. Threw another ghost code for misfires but the car drove fine, lost burbles. Cleared the code and bam, burbles back. It hasnā€™t done it ever since.

Honestly any adapter will work, it just needs to communicate between the car and the phone/app. The app itself is the most important piece. Torque is pretty comprehensive but I'm sure there are others out there that are just as good and free.

Why would you drive it hard past 4500rpm if the engine isn't up to full operating temp šŸ¤”

Aye man Iā€™m impatient šŸ˜‚
šŸ¤£ You gotta take it easy until it warms up though! Until you get close to operating temp engines experience accelerated wear, especially with load, and that's aside from the car getting mad at you which is probably combustion event related.

doesn't help that these engines take forever to warm up in cold weather

I'm still interested in a decent scan tool for Honda / Acura vehicles. Not the cheap $50 models - but rather something that is actually useful. Coming from the VW / Audi world - is there something like the Ross-Tech VCDS for Acura's?
