This was Monday night (9/30)

IMG_7156.jpeg

Swapped out OEM front and rear brake pads with Paragon P3 front and rear. OEM front pads still had decent life left, about twice the thickness of wear indicator mark, although inner pads were wearing faster than outer; but rear pads were almost at wear indicator, damn brake vectoring.

Swapped out Motul RBF660 to RBF600, a downgrade but I think acceptable because I’m not even hitting ABS during trackdays.

Installed Wunderladen Racing rear caliper pin bushings; I gladly welcome any reasonable upgrades that replace a part that checks the cost savings box by the manufacturer (the OEM rubber caliper pin bushing was and is used in ALL Civics since 2016, including Type R)

I’m at about 7000 miles and 6 track day events

RBF600 is great, and you won't have any problems. That's my go-to for track cars. I used to use ATE Typ200 and ATE Super Blue, but the 600 is just as good, slightly cheaper, and lasts longer.

Installed SiriMoto clutch damper delete + JSR Engines clutch slave cylinder w/ clutch delay valve delete

I’m much happier with the more direct clutch engagement feel now.

Also installed FL5 steering wheel trim; πŸ‘Ž to piano black and also the mirror-like bottom trim that would sometimes reflect sunlight directly into my eyes

Fun fact: that Type S emblem on the bottom of the steering wheel? MSRPs for $510.23, according to dreamshop.honda πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Put this small Chasing J’s shift plate on the blank button by the ebrake and drive mode selector . Not sure if it looks out of place or not , what does everyone think ?

Ugh... Today I had a stupid person try to merge into me on an off ramp with no indicators. Instead of slamming the brakes I accelerated ahead of him as he basically did his best to run me off the road.

Anyway, the moron followed me to the gas station where I was filling up and decides to go off on me for his stupidity he didn't realize he caused.

All this to say somewhere in there I got the "Oh, your probably driving your father's car".

I'm flattered people think I'm young enough to not be able to own this car. Anybody else have this happen to them (minus the road rage)?
