So instead of the "C" kit. We get the "F" kit now?
You can still order C kit.. I believe both are the same price but the C kit comes with extra wires which you can save for a future project 😆

I notice now they have F kit with auto tilt module that is built in the mirror. Trying to look at the instructions on how the wiring process is for that but I don't see any indications where you have to tap into a reverse signal to indicate when the car is in reverse. Kind of curious how that works.

I did see that option. Since the switch model has a canbus connection they are probably receivinig it that way.

@Integra23 you made this too tempting for me. Was staring at it in my cart the past few days. Ended up placing an order today for the F Kit and the auto window up/fold/unfold CAN module.

😆 You won't regret it. I think it makes the car look more premium.

I definitely recommend upgrading to convex mirror glass—it's an enhancement you'll notice every time you're on the road! I went with Suma, and I'm really happy with it.

And that's the shame in itself.. We the consumer, have to physically add options to a 'premium' $50k+ car to make it comparable to other cars in the same price range. (Or even lower price range for that matter).

No options from the factory unlike other competitors where you can add 10s of thousands in accessories.

No options from the factory unlike other competitors who make this stuff standard and still charge less.
Fixed that for you. ;):D

I don't wanna stray too far off topic, but folding mirrors, homelink and rear seat vents are all standard fare in cars in the $45k-50k price range.

That said, I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna keep mine for a little bit, so I'll eventually get around to installing these.

Thanks to everyone for contributing to this thread. I'll be ready for this mod when my car arrives in a few months.

Just wanted to clarify one thing. Do I need the canbus adapter if I just want auto fold/unfold WITHOUT windows automatically rolling up. I don't care about having the latter feature.

You actually don't need that canbus adapter! I got one but decided not to install it.

Canbus not needed. It does allow for auto closing the windows. This is also the downside to the adapter, when the mirrors close the windows also closes so I am unable to roll the windows down and keep them down.
